Meanwhile, John prepares a case against the atrocities of Nelson. ![]() Laxmibai vows that not a single Englishman would remain in Jhansi, and even the new battalion would leave it! Laxmibai promises him that as long as she is alive, no harm would befall Jhansi. Gangadhar tells her that they should be punished as they tried to blow up the British battalion in his presence. Laxmibai tries to explain that with Lang's help they will be able to free Samar Singh and Karma using the legal procedures of the British. However, John meets Gangadhar before that and says that he is Queen Laxmibai's guest. Laxmibai welcomes Lang to the palace and goes to seek the king's permission. John threatens to take him to King Gangadhar's court. When a British officer tries to kill a little boy, John manages to save him at the nick of time. ![]()
